June 28, 2010 The look of freeeezing!
Yes, the water is as freeeezing as it appears! Yes, this is near the arctic, and there are ice floes right off shore! And yes, we are a little crazy!

hi mr. t,
i know that i didnt have u this year, but still this is too good to miss. anyway my point, ur swim (if it can be called that) looks real fun, im jealous. i havent even been to the beach yet. i know how cold that water must be though, i once jumped into a freezing cold pool, if felt like thousands of needles were jabbed into my skin. Is that how ur “swim” felt? still, it looks like fun. ok well im have nothing else to say, so have fun and good luck looking for ummm polar bears

Hi Tamara – good to hear from you! You’re right…it did feel like a bzillion needles sticking me at the same time. It felt better as I walked back out, until a slight breeze chilled me. It was greeeeat, though! Have a good summer and come back to visit next year.

Because of global warming, there may not be any polar bears up here in awhile. check out my last posting.

Well Mr. T, I think I would rather be taking a dunk in the water than being at home with a dislocated knee and maybe surgery! Can you see the ice caps melting?? Are you in an area that is having more warm weather than it was a few years ago??
Guess I don’t have to say, keep cool….Just hope to visit you next year to hear about what you have learned. Thanks for being the best Mr. T. Jackie
